Photobox Group strikes deal with One Direction

London – Tuesday 9th December, 2014 – Photobox Group (the “Group”), a leading digital consumer service for personalised products and gifts in Europe and parent of Photobox, Moonpig, PaperShaker, Sticky9 and Hofmann, has agreed a deal for the use of One Direction products across all of its brands.

The agreement is with Global Merchandising Services for the use of One Direction designs across the personalised products the Group offers, including mugs, cards, magnets, T-shirts and more. The first designs are already available on Moonpig UK, US and Australian sites and are sure to be a hit with their fans for the gifting season.

Since rising to fame on the UK edition of The X Factor, One Direction has become a global phenomenon with more than 37 million Facebook fans, over 112 million Twitter followers and an astonishing one billion plays on music streaming service Spotify.

Commenting on the agreement, Photobox Group Chief Executive Officer, Stan Laurent, said:

“We know that our product line will be a great fit for all the One Direction fans out there. We are thrilled to be working with such a creative band and we are excited that our brand new product line will be furnishing the stockings of Moonpig fans both old and new this Christmas.”
