PhotoBox Group launches PaperShaker to serve the growing invitations and announcements market

New online brand created by PhotoBox set to transform the invitations and announcement market…

London, UK – 1 July 2013 – PhotoBox Group (the “Group”), Europe’s leading provider of personalised products and operator of the PhotoBox, Moonpig and brands, is pleased to announce the launch of PaperShaker, a fourth new online brand targeting the invitations and announcements market. PaperShaker allows consumers to go online and create unique and personalised cards in limitless combinations specifically for major lifetime milestones and occasions such as births and weddings.

PaperShaker will serve the growing invitations and announcements market in the UK, France and Germany initially with a view to extending across Europe where the Group already have strong presence. With a large proportion of  market currently represented by offline providers, there is a compelling opportunity for PaperShaker to enter and accelerate the online penetration within the market.

The launch is yet another extension of the Group’s personalisation platform, enabling and empowering consumers to express themselves and change the way in which major life events are celebrated and shared. Initially focusing on births, weddings and parties, the PaperShaker service allows customers to create unique products conveniently and creatively online, bringing to life digital photos and images. There are over 1,000 originally created designs to choose from that can be customised every step of the way, including background colour, layout and illustrations.

The Papershaker brand will have the same award winning commitment to customer service and premium quality as its sister brands, utilising top of the range printing methods, high quality paper and professional finishing options. The innovative offering will also include a unique personalised proofing service, providing single versions of finished designs in the post to be checked at home before orders are placed.
