Photobox founder, Graham Hobson, appointed MD of Group’s incubator, bringing unique entrepreneurial and tech skills to drive innovation

London – Wednesday 11th March, 2015 – Photobox Group, parent of the Photobox, Moonpig, PaperShaker, Sticky9 and Hofmann brands is pleased to announce that Photobox founder, Graham Hobson, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Incubator.

Graham will remain part of the senior management team but will step away from his role as Chief Technology Officer at Photobox.

The Incubator was launched in 2013 to drive growth and customer engagement for the Group through innovative ideas in personalisation. Currently the Incubator has 28 team members, a mix of commercial, product and tech experts from across the brands. Graham’s first step will be to instil a lean start-up culture to drive rapid experimentation of ideas in product, service and brand.

Commenting on his appointment, Graham Hobson said: “I am really excited about the new role, the Incubator has a wonderful start-up culture which gets back to what I love doing and what I am best at. There are so many areas of personalisation which we have not yet explored and I am really looking forward to working with the talented team and starting our search for the next big ideas.”

Photobox Group Chief Executive Officer, Stan Laurent commented: “I’m extremely pleased to see Graham Hobson taking the leadership of the Incubator. Graham’s entrepreneurial and product/tech background is ideally suited to accelerate our innovation in “digi-physi” businesses either organically or through small acquisitions. What a great “new beginning” for a Photobox founder and veteran of 15 years – and a clear sign of our ambition and drive to continue innovating!”
