Moonpig Snaps Up Rickerby for New CMO Role

The UK’s leading online personalised gifting, flowers and card retailer Moonpig has snapped up Andre Rickerby to the new role of Chief Marketing Officer, starting immediately.

Rickerby joins off the back of last month’s comprehensive brand refresh, and a new integrated creative campaign by Quiet Storm contributing to the latest surge in momentum for the double-digit growth business.  

Innovative new features such as remotely adding handwriting to cards via the iOS app and a new range of letterbox flowers and gifts have also come online in the few months to provide further fuel.

Rickerby worked at Etsy from February 2013 until September this year, ending as VP, Global Marketing, responsible for digital marketing, CRM, SEO, brand marketing, social, merchandising, partnerships and events across Etsy’s six core markets, building the 50+ person team from scratch over his time there.

Previous to Etsy he spent three years at ASOS leading digital marketing across 20+ countries during a period of intense growth.

At Moonpig he’ll lead on all aspects of marketing with a particular emphasis on further building-out digital marketing and CRM capability.
