Working life:

A former BBC executive producer, Dominic has moved from traditional to digital media in a career spanning more than 20 years. His major roles include spells as CTO of lastminute.com and managing director of ITV.com.

Reasons for joining PhotoBox:

“I am fascinated by ‘Digi-Physi’ (turning digital information into physical products) and by the intense emotional engagement that characterises the brands within the PhotoBox Group. Mobile has been largely unexplored within the industry and presents an exciting opportunity for us. Not to mention rediscovering France where I spent much of my childhood.”

Career highlights:

  • Wrote the plan and co-launched BBC News Online
  • Was launch CTO through 2000 IPO and beyond at lastminute.com
  • Co-founded upmystreet.com (later acquired by Zoopla)

Education:

Dominic studied for a 1st class degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, a Masters in Modern History at Cambridge and the AMP at Harvard Business School.

Away from the office:

Dominic enjoys history, Asia, neuroscience and some cycling but does not do enough.
